The Nuclear Medicine Department has been an integral part of Akdeniz University Hospital, supporting diagnosis and treatment through advanced functional imaging techniques. The department has continuously expanded its clinical and diagnostic capabilities in line with technological developments. It plays an important role in multidisciplinary patient care, research, and medical education.

Our department is equipped with two positron emission tomography (PET)/CT, two single photon emission computed tomography (SPECT), DEXA for bone density measurement and ultrasonography. There are 4 clinically experienced and certificated Nuclear Medicine specialists and highly trained technicians.
