History
The Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department has been an essential part of Akdeniz University Hospital for many years. It has played a key role in post-acute care, chronic disease management, and disability rehabilitation. The department has continuously developed in line with modern rehabilitation medicine standards.
Facility & Services
The department is equipped with modern rehabilitation units and outpatient clinics. Facilities include physical therapy rooms, exercise and movement therapy areas, electrotherapy units, and rehabilitation equipment. Close collaboration with orthopedic, neurology, and neurosurgery departments ensures coordinated patient care.
