
Ear Nose and Throat Diseases
In our Department of Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases, all Ear, Nose and Throat diseases are treated using modern, advanced technological medical devices.. The diagnosis and treatment processes of our patients of all ages are evaluated by our experienced faculty members and physicians and carried out with a multidisciplinary approach.
History
Akdeniz University Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic continues its work with four professors, one physician lecturer and twenty-three assistants. In our clinic, we also have one expert audiologist (hearing disorders specialist), seven audiometrists (specialists who determine the degree of hearing impairment with the help of various tests) and one biomedical technician (Videonystagmography (VNG), the specialist who performs the test used to make a differential diagnosis between balance disorders (vestibular disorders) and causes of vertigo) works.
Facility & Services
Polyclinic services are on the 1st floor of H Block, Audiology, Speech and Balance disorders unit is on the 2nd floor of H Block, inpatient service with 22 beds and also a sleep laboratory is on the 7th floor of A Block, and operating room services are provided with General Operating Rooms and Day-Surgery center.
