History
The Pediatric Health Department has been a fundamental part of Akdeniz University Hospital since its establishment. It provides comprehensive healthcare services for infants, children, and adolescents. The department has continuously developed its clinical and academic structure in line with modern pediatric medicine. It also contributes to medical education and multidisciplinary patient care.
Facility & Services
Currently, 30 research assistants are receiving specialist training in our department. Additionally, subspecialty training is provided in all sub-branches. With 12 neonatal, 10 neonatal intensive care, 35 pediatric beds and 6 pediatric intensive care beds, our department provides inpatient care to an average of over 2000 cases per year.
